Patti Blagojevich who is know for her obscenities is now taking husband's Rod's place on the reality show "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here"
The first lady of ousted Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, Patti Blagojevich is now going to take her hubby’s place on being on the NBC show “I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here,” (which got canceled due to poor rating) to be filmed in Costa Rica.
If you remember (ugh, like it is one of those most important things in your life) a federal judge barred Rob Blagojevich last month who faces federal corruption charges from being on the NBC show because would send him out of the country. But his wife, Patti, accepted an offer from the network and seems to be doing it for two [important] reasons: 1) for the money and 2) to help clean up her reputation. Hummmm!
The Chicago Tribune portraits her as an “unflattering depicting Illinois First Lady” and “a modern-day Lady Macbeth who plotted against her husband’s perceived enemies and backed his corrupt schemes emerged in court documents connected to the governor’s arrest …”
For those Chicago Cubs baseball fans, she wanted the state to sell Wrigley Field to ease its crushing debt, which needless to say, got a ton of them pissed!
Patti widely known for her stringing obscenities thrown at just about everyone via backdoor methods, said on NBC’s “Today” last Thursday she hopes her appearance on the reality series will help show that she isn’t the profanity-spewing person portrayed on federal wiretaps.
A ugh hummmmm this time!
If she does do this reality show NBC has already dubbed “Queen of the Jungle,” that is, if the others are voted off.
As for the money (undisclosed as of now, but you know it is a few bucks) she said in a joint interview with her impeached husband on NBC’s “Today” show, “In these terrible economic times, I feel it’s necessary to go to work to support my family (or should we say, her husbands raising attorney fees) so, yes, that’s the primary reason for doing the show.”
As of this posting, Patricia Blagojevich, 43, has not been charged with wrongdoing, but it should be interesting of how this plays in the wild jungles of Costa Rica – like we posted about Rod Blagojevich reality a few weeks ago. If anything, it will help pump a few million into Costa Rica’s economy. So, no matter what you think of this tabloid hype – this is a good thing.
